Mario Kunovec-Varga, Director General of Croatia Control, has taken over as Chair of the COOPANS Alliance Board for the next 2 years. He took over from Philipp Piber, Managing Director of Austro Control, who had held the position since 2023.

Mario Kunovec-Varga has 25 years of experience in the field of aviation. Before assuming the role of the Director General of CCL, he led the Department of Strategy, Development and International Relations at the company.
