As of October 1, Ann Persson Grivas, Director General LFV, has assumed the position of Chairwoman of the COOPANS Alliance Board. She takes over from Thomas Hoffmann, who held the position since 2016.

With Portuguese Air Navigation Provider NAV Portugal recently joining the Alliance, COOPANS will be the biggest virtual ANSP in Europe. More than 4 million flights controlled by six ANSPs and 8 ACCs across Europe using the same software build. A major step forward in the harmonization of European Air Traffic Management.
